R. Kelly’s trial continues to be happening in New York Metropolis, and on Friday, his former assistant entered the courtroom to discuss her time working for the singer.
In line with Reuters, Cheryl Mack, who can be the mom of well-known music producer London On Da Observe, testified within the Brooklyn courtroom and shared among the issues she skilled whereas working as an assistant to the singer. One incident she recalled specifically, happened backstage at a live performance in Connecticut. She reportedly claimed that she had seen a girl massaging him, and when she left the room she noticed the girl transferring her head in direction of his non-public space.
“That was type of my cue to go away, I used to be very uncomfortable,” she mentioned. One other incident she reportedly shared happened in 2015 and concerned her writing an “apology letter,” which consisted of claims that weren’t true after she ruined a celebration for stylist Kash Brown. “I apologized out of worry,” she added.
The outlet notes that there have been a number of different witnesses that testified to having to jot down apology letters “purportedly to absolve him [R.
