The CBI on Monday began searches on the premises of former Maharashtra House Minister Anil Deshmukh at a number of areas, officers mentioned. The searches are understood to be happening on the premises of Deshmukh in Nagpur and Mumbai, they mentioned.
The company has not disclosed the case wherein the search operation is occurring.
The CBI had booked Deshmukh and another unidentified individuals underneath IPC sections associated to legal conspiracy and the Prevention of Corruption Act for “try to acquire undue benefit for improper and dishonest efficiency of public obligation.”
