Trinamool Congress basic secretary Abhishek Banerjee on Wednesday suggested the Congress to hit the streets towards the BJP, as an alternative of indulging in “armchair politics”.

The recommendation comes days after the younger TMC Turk criticised the Congress for allegedly failing to place up a reputable battle towards the saffron camp.

If the Congress can not battle the BJP, the TMC will do it and defeat the saffron social gathering, Banerjee stated.

“The Congress has to go away its armchair politics and social media politics and hit the streets,” he stated.

The bonhomie between the Congress and the TMC was strained just lately after the latter’s mouthpiece “Jago Bangla” claimed that social gathering supremo Mamata Banerjee, and never Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, has emerged because the face of the opposition towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
