Maharashtra minister Jitendra Awhad arrested in abduction and assault case, will get bail

Maharashtra Housing Minister and NCP chief Jitendra Awhad was arrested on Thursday and later launched on bail in a case of alleged assault on a social media person at his home.

Awhad appeared on the Vartak Nagar police station in Thane metropolis in reference to the case on Thursday, stated a senior police official.
